We are focused on encouraging the sustainable development of the mushroom growing sector through innovative research, education and professional consulting for our members and the wider community. The center provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience among researchers, experts and mushroom enthusiasts.
Our mission is to advance the understanding of mushrooms as a resource through the promotion of best practices in cultivation, ecological sustainability and application in medicine, food industry and environmental protection. With a high degree of social responsibility, the Center stands for transparency, integrity and professionalism in every aspect of our work.
In the research center CZIG (Mushroom Research Center) we conduct basic research as well as extensive cultivation of edible and medicinal mushrooms. We systematically rediscover the world of mushrooms in joint projects with renowned universities and institutes in the country and abroad. This is our response to the growing interest in mushrooms as a valuable food, alternative medicine and pharmaceutical raw material.
We want to share all the results of our scientific work with other research centers and present them transparently to the general public.
